We were hoping to find a good Italian restaurant and unfortunately we did not!! When we arrived the inside of the restaurant was tastefully decorated and we were hopeful! But that's where it ends. They tried to seat us at a horrible booth in a corner where the seats were so sunk in your chin practically met the table!
The service was good, however a little ambitious with the clearing of the salads and bread. Spaghetti and Meatballs were horrible. Absolutely no flavor in the meatballs or what little sauce was served. No salt/pepper on the table to even doctor it up. I've been here before and was always good. Very disappointing this time.
I ordered the talpia , wife ordered the muscles. When they arrived the fish had a small as if it was already decaying, was clearly bad. The muscles were poorly prepared, and seamed to bad before they were even cooked.
While waiting on our food we noticed everyone was bein shown the 'specials' this was not presented to us at all. May have changed what we would of have ordered.
First time we had ever been to this place, we were greeted and seated. We were given menus and our waitress was pleasant. We ordered the calamari , was really good, and our dinners, that's the point it went down hill.
I loved everything about it. Service was fantastic. Everyone was polite and helpful. Food is always so good. Even the dinner salad is good. We take friends, family and out of town guests there all of the time.
This was a disappointing outing and with the higher than average price, not some where I would recomend.
Have been here 5 or 6 times and about half of that time the food took an exceptionally long time. Last week we took our 2 young children and had to wait for 45 minutes for a pizza and children's fettucini. Overall we were there for 1.5 hours. My wife sent an email stating that we have enjoyed the food and wait staff but were upset that there has been more than one slow kitchen service. The response from Barb Baker had made us decide not to return. There was an alarming lack of customer service in the response. She even stated that, "if you come at one of the busiest dining times..., then you should expect to wait." and encouraged us to come at a slower time or do a carry out order. I work in a customer service industry and was shocked that the only apology in the response was a backhanded one. She went on to state multiple times that they are not a chain restaurant and since the food was made from scratch, there would typically be a wait during the dinner rush. Yet, the restaurant had less than half of the tables seated during our visit. She also stated they have a "SIT BACK AND RELAX" sign posted, but typically in a restaurant industry that would be fine if you were able to get your food first. Very disappointing, and we will not return. From the other reviews, I would probably encourage others not to as well, which is sad considering we do not have many locally owned restaurants in the area.
I ordered the Chicken Modiga which tasted like it was made with cream of chicken soup and the bread was served cold with tasteless whipped butter. My husband ordered pizza and we were promised how spectacular it was! No...No it was not! Anyway needless to say we won't be back!!
